Pastor Clinton D. McFarland is the dynamic Senior Pastor and Founder of the Grace Baptist Church, located in Stockbridge, Georgia. Pastor McFarland has been preaching and teaching the Word of God for over thirty-five years. Born in 1967 in Shubuta, Mississippi, to the late Reverend Cleveland McFarland, Senior and Dora McFarland, he eagerly began to serve as a musician in his father’s church at the tender age of eight. At the age of twenty-two he accepted a mandate from God to proclaim His Word. Because his passion for the word of God was so intense and obviously filled with purpose, he was called to pastor his first church five months later and had the privilege of pastoring in his native state for 18 years.

The Lord spoke to Pastor McFarland in 2014 and instructed him to step out on faith and establish Grace Baptist Church. Hungry for the anointed Word of God, hundreds of worshippers attended the first service on the last Sunday in November 2014. The establishment of Grace Baptist Church is likened to an elect opportunity to reveal to God’s people just how much God will do when we trust and obey Him.

Within our Grace Community, he is the founder of Grace Community Development Initiative, which combats food insecurities through G.C.D.I. Resource Center and Essential Services. These programs aid the community with food, rental, mortgage, and utility assistance. Pastor McFarland established Project Y.E.S. for the expressed purpose of youth educational services. This program affords scholarship opportunities and career explorations.

Because of his business and leadership savvy, and by the leadership of the Holy Spirit, he along with his congregation have become “debt free”. In October 2023, under his visionary leadership, eliminated a debt of 4.1 million dollars which included the mortgage of 54.4 acres of land and multiple facilities.

Pastor McFarland is highly respected among his peers, and as a national speaker, Pastor McFarland demonstrates his oral articulation by delivering influential and powerful messages that has changed lives across the country, and around the world. Throughout the years, he has been selected as the keynote speaker for many ministerial associations, alliances, and national organizations, including the prestigious National Baptist Convention.

Graced with multiple gifts and talents, his platform for ministry of the gospel has not been limited to the pulpit. He is a celebrated gospel recording artist and in addition to ministry through song, Reverend McFarland is the author of “Life after Divorce–The Story of One Pastor’s Triumph over the Tragedy of Divorce.” Many individuals across the nation acknowledge that the release of this publication has brought welcome healing and much-needed emotional freedom into their lives.

He is blessed to share each day of his life with his beautiful, supportive wife and best friend, Tamara and is the proud father of two beautiful children, Dwanna and Clinton McFarland, Jr.
